Christmas '08

Well....Christmas this year was as usual FANTASTIC! I, like all others enjoy this holiday for many reasons; the family all together, so many gifts, and a TON of food! Well, I told you all that I was going to Blog today so I could tell you about the experience at my Aunts house. The random screams are from a wonderful game called: EUCHRE!!! That game is like the best card game in the world!! Every family function/reunion we end up playing this game.

Christmas today was Spectacular! I received many excellent gifts from my amazing parents and friends. I am right now watching the "old people" ie: my parents, aunt, uncle, and cousins, play euchre, while my other cousin is playing his PS3.

Well, I believe that we are going to be watching a movie soon, so I must depart.

I hope you all had an incredible Christmas like I did. Until next time...

It's Christmas Eve!

Well Folks, It's CHRISTMAS EVE!!! I can hardly belive that the year is coming to an end. It seemed as if I was just opening gifts last Christmas just a couple months ago. I do enjoy this time of year, sitting in my living room by the fireplace (that does not even work) watching the snowflakes fall out of the sky, while drinking a warm cup of coffee! What is SO terrible about this day? It goes by WAY TOO fast!! Oh well, I am never disappointed with Christmas!

Anywho, as you have noticed I have not blogged in a while, so for that I apologize! I usually have alot of extra time, but of late, I have been doing a lot of work at my fathers warehouse! For this I have been called a "Lazy Blogger"- Jackie, "Fail Blog"- John & Lynn. So, after all the criticism I decided that I would blog on this beautiful Christmas Eve day. I am looking outside my office windows and all I see is white. The tree's are covered; It is lightly snowing (or is that rain??)

My plans for the day are as follows: I must finish waking up, take a shower, do all my hygiene, and go SHOPPING!!! If you did not know, I really enjoy shopping; and NO I am NOT GAY!!!!! Once finished with picking up some last minute gifts I will be off to church to do a little Christmas service (I lead the songs). After church I will be attending a fellow church members Christmas party. It should be a BLAST (ok not so much)!!!

I will not tell you what I will be doing Christmas day because I need to save some stuff to write about Christmas night, when I am sitting at my Aunts house and there is random screaming!! You'll have to wait and hope and pray that I will blog tomorrow so you will find out who this mysterious aunt is and why there is blood curdling Screams!!

Well, until then, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!! And remember to keep Christ first this CHRISTmas!!!

Christmas is coming TOO fast!!!

Usually I would not be too disappointed about how fast Christmas is coming, but recently I have noticed that is coming way too fast! I have a oral interpretation to do for a Christmas concert at my school and it has to be memorized by tomorrow. Yea, probably not gonna happen. You just gotta love speech class and the teacher. As "Babble-escents" has recently posted, we have been assigned our partners and topics for the upcoming debate. Yesterday, I found myself partner-less and topic-less. I was not too thrilled! Today I found out that I kinda have a partner and I will be debating the two smartest girls in the speech class!! ugg

Anyhow, on a lighter note, I made a phone call today about that Christmas Cd and I will be recording it on Saturday in a real, professional, studio!!! Like I said before, I will be dedicating it to my brother that is in the military. It will be entitled "I'll Be Home For Christmas." I am SO excited!! Well, I must be off to memorize that speech thing. Hopefully I will have to blog tomorrow because of a snow day!! :]

SNOW DAY!!!

Well, I am sure you have guessed what amazing thing happened today. Yup, a snow day!
This morning I received a text on my cell phone from a church friend telling me that she had school. I was utterly BUMMED!!! Well, me being a normal, 17 yr. old guy, I just layed in bed until I suddenly noticed I had fallen asleep(imagine that). I whipped my neck around to look at my clock, and it read 8:01!!!
If you don't know me I am kinda always late for school. I mean the only reason why is I don't enjoy being TORTURED!!! Anywho, I ran down the stairs and I asked my mom if I had a snow day! She thinking it would be funny said, "What?? you're gonna be late again!!

After some lame joking around she told me that yes, we DID have a snow day, and that I could go back to bed. With excitement I ran quickly back to my warm bed and went to sleep! (Ahhhh)
I would like to apologize for not blogging in a while. With the holiday craziness I had no real time to blog. I hope your Thanksgivings were as wonderful as mine! Thanks for reading!!

Christmas CD

So, seen as how the only people that read my blog are like my family members I am going to tell you a little secret. I am planning on recording a CD in a couple of weeks! Its gonna be a Christmas CD and I am dedicating it to my brother, Andrew who is serving in the US Army. The title to the CD will be, "I'll Be Home For Christmas." I am praying that the man at the recording studio will give me a deal on the CD. They roughly start at $300 and I maybe have $200 saved up.

I am hoping someone (Lynn) could write me a poem that I could put on the flyleaf of the CD cover! :)

If you could, give me some ideas for songs!?! I have some songs that WILL be on it, but I need some more. Well, that's about it, so I'll blog about some other randomness later :)

Bob Jones Festival 2008

Well, I am sorry I have not blogged in a while, I recently went to Bob Jones University and competed in a Male Vocal Solo contest. I received 4 pts. away from a perfect score, but did not get into the top seven. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed. (oh well, I will get over it) Anyway, as of Sunday November ninth I am seventeen!! WOOHOO!! I feel so old. lol

While at BJ, one of the guys that attends my school decided he would put pepper on my pillow. I noticed it as soon as I got in bed. I quickly brushed it off and went to sleep. The next morning I realized I did not take my contact lenses out of my eyes. I thought nothing of it at first, but, as soon as I walked out into the lighted hallway my eyes immediately closed and I could hardly open them! MY EYES WERE SWOLLEN SHUT!!! On top of that a piece of pepper got in my eye and began to burn ferociously! For the past four days I could hardly open my eyes. Thankfully today I put contacts in with out a reaction. Well, I need to "Hit the Hay" so I will ttyl

Mid-Terms, Moose, and the Marines...

Ok I realize I have not blogged in a while and for this I am very sorry! Lynn and John have both been telling me that I NEED TO BLOG! So I decided to quickly do my homework and jump on the computer to tell you what has been going on in "MY LIFE."

So, to start out, last week was mid-terms and they were difficult! Thankfully I did not fail anything and I am still in the 11th grade. (Praise GOD!!) School has never come easy for me like it had for my oldest brother and my sister (Lynn), so I must work really hard to get good grades. I must admit I do not try half of the time, but when I do I still don't get great grades. Anyways, I am just happy they are FINISHED!!!

Now, you are probably wondering about the word "moose" in the title of my blog. I recently asked my mom if I could get a dog. Every time she came back his a devastating "NO!" So, one day being the great son that I am I asked her once more if I could get a dog. My Aunt quickly piped up and told me that her x- husband had a golden retriever that he was giving away. I was thrilled! Later that day my mom and I went to his house to see the dog; Moose. She finally agreed to getting the dog! I love my huge dog!

I personally know my sister will be quite upset at the fact that I keep telling her that I want to go into the military. I feel like its my duty to serve my county, and why not learn a skill while there? I realize that I could go to a college and get a degree, but to be able to say "I served my country for four years" would be awesome! I am still praying to see what God would have me do, but, I personally don't think its a bad idea.

If you could just pray for me that I could make the right decision so I don't regret something I did later in life. Well, my mom is telling me to go do something school related so I must depart. ttyl

Speech

So, today in my blog I will be informing you on a terrible subject my school forces me and ever other student in our school to take; Speech. Speech is probibly the most meaningless class for a person (like myself) who will not be speaking at all for their occupation. Now, I understand that I may need to present something in the bussiness world, church, or some other event, but I personally do not find the class that important!

Well, today I had this beloved class and I also had to do a speech. This is our second speech and this time is was a speech to demonstrate. I thought about what I could talk about and me going into the pathology (deafness) feild I thought the "Human Hearing System" would be interesting! NO! Lets just say it went over like a led balloon! First of all I did not study as much as a should have, but granted I was the only Junior to present my project today. All the rest were Seniors! I found this quite unfair!

As I stood before the class I began to sweat perfusly. I was already thinking it would not go over too well, but I started into it. As soon as I began I thought to my self, wow, I am actually doing a pretty good job. That "pretty good job" did not last for more than 45 seconds. Lets just say it went down hill from there. I could not remember my points, all my information was jumbled, and when i walked over to my poster I could not find the 3 bones in the ear. Oh yes, It was TERRIBLE! After I finished the teacher and students said nothing. You could hear a pin drop. Granted my speech needed to be 6-8 minutes and I maybe got 3 min. I am just praying that it won't hurt my grade to badly.

Well, I must be off to do some homework. I believe I have a vocab test at the end of this week with 40 vocab words and definitions! Yes, my teacher IS insane!

Girls

So, I am most likely the unluckiest guy in the world when it comes to girls. Most girls that find me attractive are creepy, disgusting, and IGNORANT! A good example of this was today at lunch, when a table of underclassmen asked me to sit with them. Well, this being the first time this year that a group of girls asked to sit with me I almost said, "yes", but right then I looked at who it was. It was____ and ____. Now I would tell you their names, but this is the Internet, so I will call the by Girl 1 and Girl 2. Well, Girls 1 & 2 are not the most attractive girls in the school, and they lack umm whats the word I'm looking for? Uh "normalness"? Lets just say the descriptions above describe them PERFECTLY!

Anyway, needless to say I may be a chick magnet, but just not the right kind I guess. I would Blog more about random things that happened today, but I have a GIGANTIC speech due tomorrow. I have yet to start memorizing it so, I will write about how it went tomorrow.

Movies

Ok, so, I just finished watching probably the dumbest movie I have seen in a very long time! The movie title was, "The Happening". When I first heard about this film I was quite anxious to see it. I really enjoyed some of the directors previous movies, but I was not at all impressed.

I am in a family of movie "buffs" and none of us really enjoyed the movie in the least bit. Well, I would continue my Blog but, I have bus route at the crack of dawn tomorrow, and I am EXHAUSTED! I will write more later.

Blogging

Hello internet community! Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your stressful day to read my Blog. I am looking forward to share some of my feelings about our Economy, up and coming election, and many I'm sure more obnoxious things.

Well, if you have no idea who I am, my name is Jordon ( hence the name of my Blog). I will not be giving you my last name due to identity thievery. I would like to thank my sister Lynn for creating my blog for me. I am not a computer savvy person, so I rely on her for many of my computer questions.

I hope you enjoy the Blog! I look forward to sharing some funny stories with you in the future.
